It's Pronounced "Pah-vert." You povert.

Jerk-Offs

I couldn’t believe it. I got a weird “bill” today. Opened it up, and this is what I saw:

bill1bill2

It looked like a bill. Click on the pics for large, readable versions. For a moment I just saw “wrestlethatshark.com” and “HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT”.

Now, I’m proud (?) of Wrestle that Shark, but I paid it off for the next 2 years (for the name, anyway), and I know it hasn’t had nearly enough traffic to justify a bill of any sort.

Closer inspection showed that it was just some jerk-off SEO-type company that wants me to give them $60 to submit the site to 20-odd search engines.

Even if I cared about whether people searching alltheweb.com saw my damn website, I’d just go submit it myself. But as far as I’m concerned, any search engine should search sites out — having to submit the site just shows that the search engine is a piece of shit.

Besides, how would people find the site? By searching for “Shark wrestling”? “Philosophical podcast”? Who the hell cares?

On the back of what looks like a god-honest bill, they put, “THIS IS NOT A BILL.”

THEN DON’T MAKE IT LOOK LIKE ONE, F*&#KFACES!

Sorry, just wanted to vent.
