Oh man, this is too much. Funny as this is, I’ll bet it actually does eventually become a big problem.

I don’t really use Yahoo Messenger anymore (Yahoo is officially lame when it comes to any support for macs), but back when I did use it I’d occasionally get IM’d by a bot. The dead giveaway was that they responded way too quick. One millisecond after you type, “Ummm, do I know you?” and it’d respond with, “That’s great sweetie! Come see pictures of me on my website at http…”

There is something very offensive about being IM’d by a bot. I can’t put my finger on it, but it always made me mad.
