Macworld, AppleTV
I’m pretty happy with the announcement about AppleTV — not only can we (finally! err, in two weeks) buy and rent movies directly from AppleTV, but it will only require a software update.
The AppleTV apparently hasn’t sold much, but I love mine. I use it every day.
The jiggly iPhone update is neat too. It got my location off by about a mile, though. Also, I realized today that I can sync my iPhone with multiple computers. So I’ve got it syncing its media and ringtones with my old iMac and everything else with the MacBook Pro. Rad.
I won’t be running back to the apple store to exchange by 4-day-old MacBook Pro for a MacBook Air, but it is pretty snazzy.
In totally unrelated nonsense, I’m still trying to force myself to learn TextMate. 10+ years of vi does not make this easy. I am doing a freelance project entirely in TextMate, though, so we’ll see.

I heard that they were going to update the Apple TV at Macworld. I’m actually considering getting one now. It would be nice. Macbook Air seems kind of like a solution with no problem – or at least not a problem most Macbook or Macbook Pro users or potential users would have (in my opinion). Plus, it’s expensive. You know, I also heard that there was a chance they were going to rev the Macbook Pro. But they didn’t – which worked out well for you.
